There’s been this view circulating that rap in the west side of Miami has been non-existent. Or where it has been existent, it’s been everything but great. Well, I’m here to tell you that rap isn’t dead. Kendall rapper, Deeno, has given me hope in the rap-scene out west. He’s as dedicated as they come. His music has meaning and emotion–something that the local rap scene has been lacking. He’s somebody that you shouldn’t sleep on. He has the right kind of flow, beats, and support needed to thrive in the industry. We had the opportunity to catch up with him and find out what led him to the scene.
